上海政法学院法学专业是国家一流本科专业，法学学科为上海市一流学科上海市高原学科。2021 年学院在法学学科领域排名全国第六位。国际法学院设有法学（涉外卓越法律人才培养试点班）等3 个本科专业和国际法学、法律硕士（涉外律师）、法律硕士（金融法方向）3 个硕士专业。国际法学科带头人为校长刘晓红教授。
The Profession of law of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law ( SHUPL ) is rated as First-class by the Ministry of Education, and the subject of Law was rated as a Key and Plateau Discipline of Shanghai, which ranked No.6 in law field in China in 2021. The School of International Law has a pilot class of elite international legal professionals and awards 2 other bachelor’s degrees in Law, including international economic law. The school also awards master degrees in international law, international lawyers and financial law. The subject of International Law was leaded by Professor Liu Xiaohong, Headmaster of SHUPL.

合作交流基地”等一系列国家级平台。
International Base:
In terms of National Platform, the “ Belt and Road ” Judicial Research Base of the Supreme People ’ s Court and China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization training base for international judicial exchanges and cooperation were founded at SHUPL. The university is also among first batch of cooperation and exchanges bases permitted by the Legal Service Committee of China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
国际交流：与世界近100 所高校和机构建立了友好合作关系，同美国圣路易斯华盛顿大学、英国利兹大学、瑞典斯德哥尔摩大学等名校设立了联合培养硕士生和交换生项目，选派优秀学生赴海牙国际私法会议、国际商会、国际统一私法协会、上海合作组织等知名国际组织实习。
International Exchange:
SHUPL has established friendly cooperation with more than 100 universities and institutions universally, including graduate programs and student exchange programs in cooperation with Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Leeds and Stockholm University in Sweden and other prominent universities. Moreover, our school also provide internship opportunities at such famous international organizations as Hague Conference on Private International Law, International Chamber of Commerce, International Institute for the Unification of Private Laws and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
涉外赛事：学校拥有国际级学科竞赛品牌，与涉外仲裁机构上海国际仲裁中心(SHIAC)、专业型国际组织国际商会(ICC)连续举办了 11 届 Moot Shanghai 国际商事模拟仲裁庭上海邀请赛，具有很高国际影响力。
Moot Shanghai:
The University owns highly influential international academic competition brand, including the MOOT Shanghai invitational competition held by SHUPL and Sharm El Sheikh International Arbitration Centre and The International Chamber of Commerce.
涉外律师硕士点：2021 年，当选为全国首批实施法律硕士（涉外律师）研究生培养项目的15 所高校之一。在上海，除上海政法学院外，仅有华东政法大学和复旦大学获此殊荣。
International Law Graduate Program:
In 2021, SHUPL is selected as one of the first batch of 15 universities in China to start master degree cultivation program in the subject of international lawyer. Besides SHUPL, the other 2 universities in Shanghai that won this honor is ECUPL and Fudan University.
